Going dark.

I'm disconnecting the computer now. It may be 24 hours or so before I post anything or respond to email. I'm insanely busy right now, thanks to amazing procrastination and heavy drinking. I leave the island in four days.

Forward Movement.

I have my orders now. My initial out brief is done, and my finance appointment is done. All that's left is my final out brief and my DD-214. Next stop, Portland.

Preparations.

I've just acquired airline tickets. On March second I'll be leaving the sunny little island of Oahu for the big grey melancholy of Portland. On another note, there is an obscene amount of red tape associated with military separation. Bureaucracy, how ghastly thine countenance.
